Part-Time Teacher (Substitute Position)

Substitute Teacher - Contract Position

Contract Summary: The COMO is seeking substitute teachers for our childcare programs! The substitute teaching agreement is on an as needed basis within the COMO's Preschool and COMO Kids programs located at the Stonington Community Center. Substitute teachers will be notified of hours available to substitute teach and are free to accept or decline hours. COMO substitute teachers must be committed to maintaining a nurturing and safe environment, and to working collaboratively to implement established curriculum and lesson plans in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the CT Office of Early Childhood and The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and with consideration of all classifications of: learners; ages; abilities; developmental stages; and family needs.
